For example, if your state does not require Personal Injury Protection and you travel to a state that has such a requirement, your auto insurance will automatically adjust to provide the minimum limits required by the law of that state. If your state requires limits lower than the state you are traveling to, the limits will automatically adjust up to meet the requirements of the state you are traveling within.
